I collected a swarm 2 weeks ago. I did not have brood to add. I opened it up today and found capped honey, capped brood and a queen cell that is still opened. I did not see the queen but she is apparently there?
Not sure if I need to re queen or wait and see what happens next.

Quite often swarms will supercede once conditions are right.Usually after they feel they're in sustainable condition.

if there is an egg in there do a split

Thanks for the replies. There is not enough bees to do a split. I'll just watch for a bit and see how it progresses.
