Wax Melter- That didn't work

EDIT: Well I guess it was not hot enough so it didn't work being covered. I will try again with Glass over it. Maybe the Sun needs to actually be ON it.
I will leave this up here so others don't waste their time :(

So the last 2 days the Bees were cleaning up the used wax I put out for them. Here is them cleaning it, this is 22 min long so you can skip through it or listen to the Bees ZIP by the recorder lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBih4QecGB0

I made the easiest wax melter out of mostly what I had at home and used the 95º day to melt it.
2 deep Square tinfoil pans from the $1 store, Purple Locker shelf (I didn't have any other sturdy mesh) to put the Paper towels on and Plastic Cling Wrap.
Tin on bottom with water, Purple shelf, Paper Towel single layer, used Wax, Tin on top. The Plastic Wrap was mainly to keep ants/bees out of it.
I will open it tonight when the sun goes down to see how it did and post Video #2

Interesting installation of an entrance reducer in the Busy Buzzing Bees video. What's the reason/benefit for the double entrance?

This one ?

So the only reason it is like that was because I have been playing with the reducers due to the heat and Dearth. Even though this is my biggest/busiest Hive it is still a split from a 1st year Nuc. I wanted to be able to open it with our Super hot heat wave we have been having (on number 3 so far, not 3rd day, 3rd heat wave) and they do not just slide in easily.
And.......when I tossed them on I didn't have a suit on and didn't realize it till the next day.
This hive also has the most Stickiest Propolis ever !

Here you can see I took off the reducers but that one was stuck so hard I just left it as I was in a hurry and again no suit
