After weeks of rain/flooding and storms, with no more than two days in a row with no rai--- today is beautiful and I went into each of my hives and was pleasantly surprised at how well they are doing. Lot's of bees, old and new brood, eggs and larva!! Honey production is much better than last year @ this time (we were in the 3rd yr. of a drought).

Just wanted to share my good news!!

We have not had that long of a drought here but after our winter rains it has all but stoped in our area The corn and milo is very poor but the last week we got about 5 inches here and this will help the cotton crop. It will also help our hay and grass on us city farmers! Yesterday we robbed the first 3 hives "late about 2 weeks due to rain and work" 19 gallons mostly from tallow and wild flowers makes it all better Good luck
