There are many unique challenges being an urban beekeeper. Local government and neighbors being some. I have navigated these and am currently living at piece with both.

My bee yard is next to my driveway where I park my dark grey truck. Well 4 strong over wintered colonies caused it to be peppered by yellow bee poop. I had been unable to effectively get it clean. High pressure spray, detergent, scrubbing, nothing got it all off.

Today I presoaked with citrus orange oil product for about 5 minutes and than washed normally. Completely clean now!

The truck is going in the garage from now on.

That's great. The forum frequently has new urban beekeepers asking for advice on how to navigate those issues and most members here are rural people so we just give common sense suggestions. Why don't you start a thread on the issues you had to deal with and how you handled them. I think it would be useful to your fellow urban beekeepers. J
