Here's my idea for feeding a 5 frame cell starter sugar and water.
You have a partially drawn nectar frame on the outside (a place to put wax). The other frames are mostly nectar. I'm ignoring pollen. The nectar frame next to the graft is fairly empty. If you can't find nectar frames, use honey and uncap it. Spray the frames with water. Shake bees in. Spray them. Close the hive. Spray before putting grafts in.
Do you do this? Do you use special sugar or water feeders?
