Does anyone know the difference between an Adee split and a Harbo Split?

I am assuming both are 4-way splits into 5-frame nucs.

I think maybe the Harbo splits stay in the bee yard, each with a queen cell or mated queen, and moved slowly away from each other daily.
And I think the Adee split with the original queen is moved to a separate bee yard. The three new nucs are given queen cells, stay in the original bee yard and are just moved around as needed to equalize the number of returning foragers.

Anyone have ideas on this?

I don't personally recall splits categorized by those names but I am sure those names could have been applied to bee keeping actions. Names for things are often regional and come and go. What is your favorite split method? If distinctive we could name it after you!
