Split my hive
Finally got a chance to get into my one hive. Jam packed with bees. Perfect time to split. Found a couple queen cells, brood of differing ages, lots of drone, etc. the were in a great mood today as well. As soon as I lifted off the cover they all were looking at me. I felt a bit self conscious, I don't like to be the center of attention. They all just climbed up to the tops of the frames and just hung out. Very little smoke was needed. The split went very well. So very happy.

The look up can be intimidating at first, as long as not too many of those lookers begin jumping at you, you're okay.
