Just received my first unassembled frames along with the universal jig from Kelley's. I have the foundationless frames (F-style) and the jig has two different size spacing boards, one for grooved end bars and one for regular end bars. Do I use the thicker set?

Kelly has a unique frame that has a thick end bar with a groove in it. I don't have one handy, but it seems like they are 1/2" thick or so. A regular end bar (like the F style frame) is only 3/8" thick. I would use the one for regular thickness of end bars. I'm guessing that is the thicker board to take up the extra 1/8".

Just dry fit a single frame together and use the spacer board that fits? I use the same spacer board on my jig for all medium frames (F style, Kelley, Grooved, Split, Mann Lake, etc). The only bigger spacer board I use is for deeps.
