There's a small swarm hanging inside an inverted half section of round ductwork in a storage yard at work. I was contacted by our safety department and told they've been there 4 days. I've been asked to remove them,it's not enough bees to start a hive and I was wondering if they could be combined with a package I installed two weeks ago.
I was thinking of putting them in a super with a screen from abottom board taped to it and placing the super above the package hive for a couple of days an then removing the screen. Any suggestions are appreciated?

sweep them into the smallest super you have with frames or a 5 frame nuc. let them build up.. give them a shot if there is a queen in there. if they have comb built then you can rubber band those into the frames.

if the swarm has a queen then combining might not work well. if there isn't a queen, look up how to newspaper combine. i think screen would still let them sting each other.
