I hate skunks. But they're kinda cool at the same time. :scratch:

Time for some eggs and asprin...Just sayin.

That's interesting as I had thought skunks main interest was eating the live bees, but this one is obviously licking the sweet off the frame.

You kind of laid out a nightime skunk buffet for them. I'd imagine you'd get various nocturnal critters that way.
How about suspending the frame from a tree branch with a long wire instead? More out of reach that way. Or just laying it out on a warm day and taking it in for the night?

did he tip the hive on its side?
No, I did, so bees have it easier to get in & out, the picture with him licking fingers,...I blocked the
box with 2 x 4 so he couldn't get the frames out, he then reached in to get honey.
So far they haven't bothered me or hives, so I let them be. I placed this box on top of the two deep
brood boxes, hopefully they don't climb?
