Silicone used to Seal top feeders

I have a question about the silicone used in contact with the syrup(s) used in top feeders.

Will any type of silicone be safe for use in a top feeder?

The solvents I would suspect would be harmful to bees and I guess you'd have to allow the to dry for a period like paint. Can anyone suggest a brand of silicone?
thanks

You can get "Aquarium Safe" silicone at some pet stores. Supposedly has less volital agents. I just use window type and let it dry for 24hrs. Haven't killed them yet...except maybe drowning.
Thanks for the link. I have all kinds of silicone products in the garage..I even have that GE 1 they said not to use. My favorite is the RED DEVIL 3000 but I will look for the GE II or the RTV so-n-so they talked about! We do have a PET smart nearby...
