I think we only touched 50 here by Lake Erie, and we had a very cool onshore breeze. Bees did fly some, but not real well. I know they are rearing lots of brood right now though, colony pops have been really climbing the last few weeks. No pollen coming in yet, maybe late this week I'm hoping.

jmgi, you guys should be seeing pollen real soon, the bees have been packing early pollen in at a pretty good rate here in southern Ohio for a little over a week now.. :)

WWW, yes some of the maples and elms look real close, this is the latest I have seen for first pollen in many years, understandable with the winter we just had. You are about 2 weeks ahead of us I think, so anytime now, looks like temps are supposed to climb mid to later this coming week and stay up.

Yesterdays sunshine brought on loads of pollen from our yards here in Kalamazoo Co.
We also found a bunch of morels growing in open spots.
Spring has arrived here now.
