I'm currently using the Beetle Barn traps in addition to other types. I do not use the Fipronil inside these traps as it is illegal in hives and I don't want it in there. I bait the trap with apple cider vinegar and then apply Tanglefoot around the edges. The beetles enter the trap to get to the bait but become fatally mired in the Tanglefoot. Serves them right!
