Backstory: Long time wax foundation users, getting older. We started with old Kelly boxes and frames, then Brushy frames, but bough MannLake boxes recently. (Don't ask, long story why). We have tools and skills to do almost anything, but our day jobs are keeping us busy.
We have 12 new shallow boxes that we would like to try plastic foundation in for honey use. Ideally, would like to purchase the white or light plastic foundation in wooden frames. We prefer wooden frames as our gals like to propolis the heck out of our woodenware to the point we have to clean them periodically just to pry them off the metal rails during inspections. We need to purchase both frames and foundation and would love to find them already assembled. My problem, is that I'm not finding a resource to purchase shallow light foundation, much less already in a wooden frame. I'm not worried about the wax level, as I can easily heavily wax them ourselves. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
