What would the value of a 5 medium frame nuc set up from a cut be? Say a frame of brood/honey, 2 or 3 frames of capped and older brood, and a frame of eggs/young larvae (either from the cut out or from an active hive). Have the box filled with bees, but no known queen.

I have several people asking me to come get bees and heck I am running out of gear. Was planning on 2 hives and now have 6, trying to build as much as time permits, but heck I am adding a medium every 2 weeks. The nucs are building and need to be put in mediums. I figure I have the 10 mediums ready it looks like I will be using in May, but with another 6 to 9 hives folks want removed I need another 6 to 9 mediums for those cut outs (or more).

So I was wondering if folks have ever seen something like that for sale.

We get our cut outs established before we sell them. Once we see new brood and a good laying pattern they go up for sale. We always make sure the purchaser knows that the queen is from unknown lineage and age. We sell the contents (frames with bees for $75.-100 or if the customer wants a complete hive I tell the customer to order one from dadant or brushy mountain and get it put together then call me.
That is what I was thinking of doing. Just wanted opinions if it was done elsewhere and how folks were offering them.

Thanks everyone
