Good evening, I installed a nuc colony on May 2nd into an 8 frame deep, and I put a
Hive feeder that takes up 2 frames. The bees have 6 frames to work with. The hive is filling up much faster than anticipated. Should I go ahead and add a second box? If the bees do get overcrowded, will they start drawing a comb on the side? I feel I’m probably too late on adding the second box, I plan on getting out there Friday.

1 two frame feeder in 8 frame equipment is pretty large. You definitely should add your second box as soon as possible. If they are building up fast, they could become congested and swarm, and you don't want your bees to leave!
