It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a pure Russian from a member of the Russian Bee Breeder Assoc. I doubt that you will find any this time of year - You would have wanted to place an order for delivery now last December/January. http://www.russianbreeder.org I have had good luck ordering from Bob Brachman of Cold Country Queens. He is sold out for this year.

If you are looking for a bee that may have some Russian in their ancestry there are lots of sources, and most likely some with availability. It is a hard fact of beekeeping that if you are looking to get "the best" of queens, packages and nucs - that you need to place your order many months ahead of when you'll know what your need is. You can always raise your own - that can be awesome experience - but time consuming too.

If you are looking for a Russian Cross look for a queen breeder who is located near you - if you have a local club, you might ask of them.
Coy's according to the website is still booking orders through JULY 10 http://www.coyshoneyfarm.com/russian-queens.html That's where I got mine from, and will be getting another 10 of them in July too. Very good layers. It takes a bit for them to fully take over a hive and you may have to cut cells if you are switching from one breed to another, but i find they are very good.
