I'm using a top feeder and the reducer is being used at the smallest setting.

I can't tell if this action is robbing or normal.

Thanks appreciate the feedback. This was my impression but I didn't want to be wrong.

Yes, orientation. Notice how they are all facing the hive and flying in an up and down motion? Its graceful and calm. Just like they are trying to memorize the face of the hive. Like they are scanning it. If you go back every day at the same time, you will see the same thing. I think its a sight to behold and one of my favorite things to see in the apiary. J
