I have some new package bees that i am feeding sugar water too through a thive top feeder and then i have some hives with a honey super on the top. i am afraid that the older hives with supers on them are robbing the sugar water from the new hives. i am afraid that they are ruining my honey. Besides a entrance reducer what are some ways to prevent robbing??

Put grass in the robbed hive entrance. Put something solid that makes the bees take an indirect path. Either will give the hive an advantage to start defending against intruders.
