Does anyone have an idea for a robber screen for a top-bar hive. One of the hives is a Bee Thinking hive with a round entrance. The other has a six inch long 3/8 slot entrance with landing. I was thinking of simply bending metal screening and stapling it to the hive.

I like to use the plastic grid/mesh that you can find at the craft store used for needlepoint. Cuts easily with scissors and I just cut out the size hole I want and duct tape it on. I also use it on the top bars to make "screened vents" after I drill some holes in a top bar. also for ventilation on TB nucs when I am transporting them.

Just bending it around and stapling the screen is fine.
