I always have a few roaches that live on the inner cover. Just like ****roachers in the home they run every which way when the light hits them.

Does anyone have a good roach trap method? I did not want to use a commerial roach traps since they may contain poisons that could get carried into the honey supers.

Yeah, I've got one that I can't get rid of in one of my hives. It runs too fast to squish.

It's just the Eeeewwww factor. :0/

And I'm quite certain it's bad feng shui. :D

The urge to 'squish' is reason I wanted a trap. The squishing tends to cause the bees to think they are under attack.

I am in process of trying a coke bottle trap. I cut the 2 liter bottle at the top and inverted that part into the rest to form a funnel. I then hot glued the two parts back together. For bait I used some of my wax moth lure (syrup, vinegar + banana peel). I placed the trap at the corner of the hive stand and will check it in the morning.
