Have a hive greatly affected by wax moth. Can i reuse the wax to coat foundation in the future? Is there a filtration method/process to reusing wax-mothed wax or should i write it off? There is a moderate number of frames loaded with pollen as well. Should they be left for the neighborhood to clean out?

I reuse wax moth infested wax. I put it in a paint strainer bag and put in pot of water to heat till wax melts, then squeeze the bag to get the wax out and then let the pot cool. Old brood comb does not give up much wax though. I also have used a wallpaper steamer to steam the wax that was in the paint strainer bag, then squeeze the wax out and let cool. The wax comes out clean and pretty, just scrape off the bottom of the wax cake once it is cooled.
