I began to prepare my frames from last year for foundation tonight and ran across a few shallow ones that had been about 1/4 of the way drawn out. I also found a couple that had a little uncapped and capped honey and were about 3/4 drawn. Would it be alright to reuse this foundation for the coming season or should I just cut out and get new?

I had the identical issue last year and assumed what "wadehump" said. It turned out fine. I couldn't tell which of my comb supers had the "reused" foundation and which ones had new foundation. I've got one super that didn't get finished in '09 so I'll be doing it again this year too.

It should be fine but the wax may end up being a little tougher compared to the delicate freshly drawn wax.
