I push the cage into the wax on drawn comb or on foundation I (carefuly) put a tooth pick through the cage and hang it on the top bars, I am sure this is not the best way but it is how I do it good luck.
If using undrawn frames just put a rubber band around the frame and slide the cage under the rubber band. after the queen is released and you have removed the cage, just leave the rubber band. The bees will chew through it and remove it from the hive.
Pry the frames apart and place the cage between frames with the candy tube horizontal and up. Squeeze the frames back together enough to hold the cage in place.
