Red tinted honey
I'm sure this is not the classic red candy cane issue (but could be).
Inspecting a nuc today showed that it had honey that was red tinted. More so a pinkish red color. First time ever I seen this color.
Is there a bloom this time of year in Kentucky that could cause this?

Very good point. Just this week I've seen about 4 hummingbirds around my home. Neighbors have them as well, although I don't put color dye in the mixture, they do. Thank you.Hummingbirdis feederis , it not native and mostly cultivated in urban areas
