Bee Sex Essentials by Lawrence John Connor

Successful Queen Rearing by Dr. Marla Spivak

Queen Rearing and Bee Breeding by Harry Hyde Laidlaw

In that order
By far, the best one-stop resource for queen rearing for me is here...
http://www.bushfarms.com/beesqueenrearing.htm

Has all five books by the original masters (well, 4 are from the original masters of the method) for the different standard? methods for rearing queens...Alley...Smith...Miller...Doolittle (today's commercial grafting)... Hopkins.
"Queen Rearing Essentials" is the newest book by Larry Conner. VERY GOOD! Plenty of color pictures. Highly recommended.

Larry also published a reprint of Doolittle's "Scientific Queem Rearing". A classic. I have an original copy from 1889, but this is a great reprint.

However, RayMarier is right. MB has a great resource he is offering on his site and you can't beat the cost. ;)

I have to agree with blueskybeesupply, "Queen Rearing Essentials" by John Conner is a very good one to add to your colection.
Jim.
