Tip/trick I use for all who use a quilt box/vivaldi board/feed box. If you buy a deep box (say from mann lake $16.95 commercial grade) and cut 3" off (to make it the size of a medium) attach it to the inner cover add some ventilation holes around it and screen them in with #8 hwc you now have a quilt box/vivaldi board for $3. They hold a round rapid feeder if you use inner covers with a feed hole then everything is enclosed, helps with robbing while feeding. You are probably going to need a medium box for honey so get 2 for 1 and convert a deep to medium. Might help those that want to add a quilt box but dont have much wood working skills the boxes already have finger joints also. Simple easy cheap quilt boxes.
