What is the maximum time period from when a queen emerges from the cell to when she begins laying? (Hive swarmed; couldnt find new queen but heard piping; now still no brood but they dont "seem" queenless, aggitated,etc) Thanks.

I have had swarms take up tp 3 weeks to show any brood

Typically two weeks. But I've seen as short as a little less than one week and as much as three weeks.
