Question for the bee brain experts
I did a split on the 3/29/2014. I caught a swarm that just fits into a 10 frame deep on 4/4/2014. There are 9 q cells in the split now. If i do not move those around then maybee i will not get a single mated queen. So here is my plan. If i put those in a mini mating box that has 10 deeps going in 5 different directions and move the queen from the swarm i just caught will the newly swarmed bees stay with the queen cells? My concern is that the bees will crowd the 2 frame nuc that has the strongest smell of the swarm queen and leave the rest empty?
