Ok, this might be a dumb question, but we got about 5 inches of rain yesterday, after a nice rainy week and the mosquito population is taking off. If I spray a mosquito repellent on my legs, will that affect anything if I then take feed to the bees? I spray the off in my house, not outside and not near the hives. Or should I just deal with the mosquitoes until after I feed the bees?

The Indiana State Beekeepers holds our summer meeting at the Purdue apiaries, with lots of hands-on activities in the hives. One of the bee yards is a haven for chiggers, so we provide cans of Off for any one heading to that particular yard (or anyone else who wants it). The bees don't seem to mind.
