I didn't think so. Someone tried to tell me they would so I thought I better ask to make sure. This is my first year and just took off my first super :) Absolutely beautiful honey!! Thanks for the response!

Try giving them a piece of empty comb. You will find crumbs or wax chips where they cleaned what they could from it. You will probably attract a few wax moths and small hive beetles too. The bees will reuse a very small portion of the wax scales. It is best to render the wax as suggested. A solar melter produces the best quality wax.
