I checked one of my 3 hives today and found that there was no queen, no brood, and the 2 hive bodies full of honey/nectar. If I put all the bees together they would fill one of the HBs. And there is also a lot of drone.

What are your suggestions for what to do with this hive?

My other 2 hives started from packages this spring and are doing well. This one was from last year and had mite issues earlier in the year...

Any help is appreciated.

You could requeen except for the one thing that concerns me, alot of drones. You need to determine if you have a drone layer(or layers) by looking for irratically laid eggs, worker comb being drawn out into drone comb and large numbers of drones. We don't bother with drone laying hives as you're usually throwing good money after bad. We shake them out and wish them all the best. If you do find you have a drone hive search the post, pleny of advise. If sound like you still have enough bees to requeen and make it by winter, maybe. Good Luck!
