I have been using this Queen rearing Calander http://www.thebeeyard.org/cgi-bin/queencalendar.pl?month=7&day=7&year=2014

I'm almost certain it would tell you to move your cells 10day after grafting that's what I have been doing anyway and it has worked out fine. Now when I use the Calendar it's telling me to move the cells 12day after grafting. That's the day before the cells hatch. How do you guys do it? Have I been moving them too early at day 10?

They should be emerging on the 16th day, 15th if its warm or they are africanized. I believe you dont move them until the 12th day because the wings form around 10-12 and they can get damaged very easy.

My bad, all the calenders I've used go from egg laid, If your not careful and graft a 2 day old larva the timetable will be off.
