I have two nucs from a cutout that had no queens initially and have been putting a brood frame with some eggs in each every week or two trying to get them to raise a new queen. No luck so far, they just seem to raise the brood (feed and cap it ) with out utilizing and egg or larvae to start a queen cell. Any ideas out there as to why i cant get them to raise new queens?

I'd have to guess they have one. Maybe they raised one from the original brood comb you installed. It can take 30 days for her to get up & laying.

Yeah your probably right, just trying to be patient. In fact it seemed like there might be some polished cells in one of the nucs, thanks...john
