On august 10, I hived two packages of bees. After one week I opened the hives. In hive one the queen was released and I found eggs. In hive two the queen was released but I did not find any eggs or the queen. Week two, in hive one I found more eggs and saw the queen. In hive two I found the Queen but still did not find eggs. Week three, in hive one I found the queen, more eggs, and lots of caped brood. In hive two, did not find the queen or any eggs. Both queens were marked but the one in hive two was smaller and did not look like the queen in hive one. I am sure something is not right with queen two. My question is if I can not find a replacement queen, what can I do to save hive two.

At the begining of this thread I said the packages were hived in Augast 10. This was a bad mistake, I ment April 10, 2010.
