The JZBZ cup was left from a graft I installed in 2019. I inadvertently left the cup embedded in the frame. Last weekend, I put this frame in a queenless split with eggs and young larvae. Today, I found this fully charged and capped JZBZ queen cell.

I am assuming that the queen laid in it prior to the split. I am not convinced that workers can or will move eggs. But she laid in an old JZBZ? Anybody else seen this type of thing?

Photos aren't working for me but that's pretty awesome! They do mimic a queen cup, obviously, so I can't say I'm surprised though.

You know, I've been trying to train mine to fly in formation. I keep pointing out the Canada Geese flying overhead but so far, no luck. :p
