Interesting. I've seen royal involvement in other agrarian areas, too. Just last year I was given a book on poultry, and it had a forward written by Prince Charles. Apparently the family has a history of keeping poultry, though I do not know just how hands on they might be (Charles does mention gathering eggs as a child). It is good to see that there is a new program for beeks in England, no matter who owns the land for the outapiary.
All profits go to charity. The people buying one aren't interested in a back-yard bargain.
