Lets see placed two queen cells one each in a nuc . nuc A cell hatched and I saw the queen no eggs or larve
Nuc B original queen cell was torn down by the bees and they made a new one of there own at the top middle of a brood frame.
question how long after queen hatches does it take her to start to lay. Nuc A queen hatched two weeks ago.

Normally it can take up to three weeks for a queen to start laying from the time she has emerged. However, if she does not mate within the first 4 weeks of life she will turn into a drone layer as she will loose the want to mate up. Most of my queens that i produce here get mated within the first week after emerging and from what i've seen start laying by about the two week mark. Of course this all depends greatly upon weather conditions. So far i've been lucky and had good weather spells every 4 days or so where the queens can mate up.
