One of those "Well, DUH!" questions, that may not be as obvious as it sounds.... Does the size of the queen cell actually 1 to 1 correspond to the final size of the queen?

No. The research I've seen says there is no correlation at all. It is overly large and filled with more food than she can eat, if she was properly fed. I've seen a few queen cells that were 3" long and one that was 5" long. They were not 3" long queens...

I was wondering, because I have a few queens that came from big, fat cells, and yet they are dinks. I am waiting to see their performance level.
