We are looking at catalogues to buy honey jars and would like to bottle some in glass "designer" jars that have cork tops, but aren't sure if that is appropriate for honey jars. Do honey jars require tight screw on lids or will cork work okay? Any suggestions?

Trying to visualize what you are saying...Do you mean turn the bottle over and immerse it in melted wax enough to cover the entire cork and glass rim?

You can get a nice steel stamp and place a logo on top of the bottle in the wax while it is still hot also.
