I built a portable scale using a luggage scale...probably accurate to within a pound or so, but it repeats. Takes about a minute a hive to weigh. I check them once a week and every 3 or 4 days during the flow. I find the info pretty cool. I took a reading today and one of the hives gained 31 lbs since Saturday!

Poplar and blackberry. The blackberries have more blooms this year than I've ever seen. The spike you see on the graph is a result of these two blooming at the same time.

I guess you have to take the hive off the stand and put it on the scales to weight it? Or, do you have a set up where you can put the scale under the hive "inside" the stand and weigh it that way?
