I have been noticing a few strange moving bees this past week. In a rather violent manner, they seem to be stuck on thier back. They right themselves only to flip themselves back over again. There has been one or two per day. They never become normal. It is only most like a summersault that never ends.

Is this normal for a few bees to act like this?

Is it just her time and this is what they do before death?

Curious.

You might want to snag a few and check them for mites, mites can make your bees do funny things. Another possibility is that a few of your girls may have been subjected to pesticides or some other chemicals, but if there are only a few behaving this way there's probably nothing to worry about. Just monitor them a few days.

A few bees doing this at the entrance I presume? Sounds normal. Someone is always dying or about to die somewhere in the hive. They often hangon the comb until they are near the end and then fall and do that weird flipping death dance until removed by the cleaner bees. If you had allot of bees gimping then that probably is a poisoning. Check the wings of these girls, if they are old & tattered then it probably is just their time.:(
