My bees are not making any noticeable progress since last June in terms of building out combs and making honey because of the rain scarcity this year. I have only less than 2 and a half month of rain (expected) and if I want to harvest honey, I have to move the bees to a better location where there is nectar. Apiary No 5 will receive ca 15 strong colonies tomorrow evening. Today, we prepared the fencing, dug the water pond for the bees and fixed the the door. a.JPG c.JPG d.JPG a.JPG c.JPG d.JPG

What a beautiful spot! Is that some kind of orchid (not in bloom) in the lower left? Does the tree flower at all?

I hope your bees will be very happy and productive in their new home ...

Thanks Estreya,
No, it is not orchid in bloom but an acacia tree species just started to bloom. The spot will be more beautiful when it has rained (we are still waiting for the rain) and trees bloom.
