Just checked my first year hive. I'm used to massive bearding and other types of gatherings at the entrance during hot weather but this is odd. Each bee on the hive is dancing so to speak.

Seriously hoping this is just some odd hive cooling activity and not pre swarm indication.

Thoughts?

In my experience this doesn't look like pre-swarm behavior. What I tend to see prior to swarms is a very large bearding of bees on the front of the hive; 10x the number of bees you are seeing. Your video looks like bees congregating, maybe coming out for some fresh air or waiting for a turn to go back into the hive.
