I have a hive that I caught two years ago as a swarm, last year they swarmed on me and I was lucky enough to catch them the second time, this year I have two deeps one shallow and I have A medium on top which I cut vents in just so the hive would breath better. Both deeps are nearly full of bees, the shallow they have not even pulled the foundation yet, and they have a empty medium on top of that. This evening I found A ball of bees at the entrance, do I split this hive three ways ASAP and requeen all three this fall with non habit swarming stock or do I wait a little longer to see what they will do?
