Karla, I use a Canon Rebel xti. I’d like a better macro lens and I’d like a good lens mounted flash….but I think I’d better buy groceries instead.
nwgabeeman, it is one of those early season mints. It may be related to henbit but has a different flower. The way that bee has stuck her head into the flower suggests that she’s getting some nectar. The pollen on her leg is a sure sign that she’s harvesting pollen. The amazing thing, to me, is that these weren’t covered with bees….which suggests that something more desirable is blooming nearby….maples are surely going at it.
