do the bees bring less pollen in as the honey flow starts? There is a lot of brood rearing going on now and lots of pollen coming in. as the season progresses is less time spent on brood reading and more to bringing in nectar?
I think they tend to produce brood more so early on than later and slow down production towards honey flow later on. They need many workers to produce honey, that's the idea.
