I have a couple of pokeweeds coming up in the flower beds. A google search shows that they are good pollen plants for honeybees. What's everyone else's take on that? Is it worth having them around (and the birds spreading the seed like crazy) for the benefit they provide the bees?
If I didn't like it where it is, I'd chop it down. The bees won't miss a couple of plants. If it was a couple acres of poke weed, I might give it a little more thought.
