I am in process of upgrading my honey house and need to plumb in my 60 frame extractor. It is a bottom drain model and I thought I would get the advice of others who have put them in before. Any pointers anyone wants to pass along?

Use rigid plastic pipe. Somewhere in the pipe between the extractor and your tank it drains to use a rubber coupler with clamps. That rubber coupler will absorb the movement that the extractor may have.

I run a steel 90 from the extractor conects to plastic nipel for 3 inch clear flex tubing (kelly carys these )-run about 4 feet to a jacketed sump which requiers reducing down-the three inch clear tubing is very easy to remove for cleaning -and it asorbs vibration if any-if you want you can install a shut off valve at the 90 -RDY-B
