They will accept them. You'll hear a roar when you put it in, but don't worry about it. We do it all the time.

I would not call myself very successful. Had about 18 hive going into winter, came out with 4 and of those only 2 are going gangbusters.
My bees are just not reading the same things I am!!!! LOL I put a bar of eggs, brood, and nurse bees in a different hive, last Saturday, and did not hear a peep out of them!The roar is pretty crazy. I put a bar of brood and nurse bees in a Top Bar and it was so loud I thought that maybe I accidentally put in a bar with the queen on it!
